On March 9, 2019, Davido shared a celebratory video showing Lati receiving a sleek, red Mercedes-Benz. He wrote:
“You’ve been looking after me since I was 13. You’re the only one who would do the same if we switched positions! Love you, my brother, my backbone! Enjoy this small gift!”
The vehicle, reportedly worth ₦70 million, was part of Davido’s promise to reward members of his team. Lati, visibly emotional, expressed deep gratitude:
